El Ranchito Alegre - Tualatin

If you want plain tasting food and carne asada that tastes like it came out of a can, than you should go here. I've never had such plain tasting mexican food in my life. Their cooks must not know what seasoning is.

Had the Birria en Caldo from El Ranchito Alegre today for lunch and it was ON POINT. The consome is authentically and richly seasoned and the chunks of meat were huge with a good ratio of meat to fat and bones. There’s nothing better for your soul than a slow-cooked consome. The homemade tortillas and salsas are also delicious. I can’t wait to try everything!

This place can have all my money, their breakfast burritos are literally the best I’ve ever had. Get them with bacon and sausage. They are like two meals and worth every penny!

Their food is so, so good. Definitely my new favorite hidden gem in the neighborhood. Great selection of some hard to find items too.

No question, you HAVE to eat here. This is the best Mexican food in the Tualatin area. Very legit.
