Stonehouse Motel & Restaurant - Truro

Basic sausage and eggs plus toast and coffee, served hot and plenty of coffee refills. Average price, very clean and great service.

I did not know that a new management took over the used-to-be fantastic restaurant... Didn't think my favorite Fish'n Chips was so disappointingly bad. The portion was ridiculously small. One piece fish I used to get there was much bigger than two fish I had on the plate today put together. The fish was overcooked. The batter was burnt and hard. The chips were not home made but frozen. Tartar sauce used to be home made and delicious, but today i dipped my fish in Kraft sauce. I will not go back again. Simply waste of my money and time.

Room is clean, bed is comfortable, nice to have laundry facilities, easy check in, and the on site restaurant is wonderful! Great service from everyone we encounterd.

Basic room - very clean, comfortable. Guest launderette there to use - very reasonable. Good restaurant attached for morning coffee. A very good bang for your travelling dollar.

I had a great stay at the Stonehouse Motel the staff was very helpful and friendly the rooms were nice an clean, I had my birthday while I was staying at the Stonehouse an the waiter was nice enough to give me a free T-shirt. Next time I vist Truro I will be staying at the Stonehouse motel
