Mezza Lebanese Kitchen - Truro

Wanted to like this restaurant but the food was terrible. One of the children ordered the kids meal with fries and a chicken skewer. They forgot the chicken. The food was so salty that even the children (6, 8 and 12) found it inedible. I’ve never heard them complain about anything being too salty. I’m embarrassed to say that I spent $100 on this meal.

Worst experience ever. We ordered falafel wraps and souvlaki wraps and the food was not fresh! We arrived at 9pm and store was closing at 10 pm and we were not even permitted to eat our food in the store because they were cleaning to close. We had to eat out food outside and watch them lock their doors at 9:30pm! Zero quality zero experience!

Normally I like mezza, but that was the hands down, the worst time I've ever been there should be a big one, what.half the size of normal, and for the 32$ spent with it, it was not worth, I don't think I'll ever go back, big and not impressed!

The service has ranged from fantastic to apathetic. The food tastes great but the portions are whacky and inconsistent. The chicken portions are clearly smaller than other Mezzas, and they weigh them, so I’d say that’s a management decision. For the price, the chicken and rice portions are disappointing. Have also had them forget to send along the bottle of extra sauce twice with delivery. That’s $6 a bottle, guys.

Every single time I go here they never ever put everything I ordered in the bag. This time was unbelievable, charged like 60$ or more for 5 wraps and only three in the bag. 30 years of tradition? What a joke! In Lebanon you can get 30 wraps for the price of five here! Horrible restaurant and puts a shame towards Lebanese culture. Overpriced, doesn’t have what you payed for, and horrible costumer service. Ordered a shawarma and there’s not even a mouth full of chicken, the rest is lettuce and tomatoes. If you are making almost twice or three times more the amount of money that you deserve, you should at least give us what we are paying for. Where’s the chicken in my wraps? Why is it cheap bread? Where’s the delicious sauce in the wrap? Highly do not recommend eating here, but if you got a thick wallet than go for it. But I promise you, you won’t be satisfied.
