Fletcher's Restaurant - Truro

Service was slow, coffee weak (as has been true for us outside of Halifax. Nothing particularly tasty about breakfast. Not a fan of potatoes, eggs were okay. Oatmeal was good.

I never got my beverage with my lunch. The lady got mad when I mentioned it but still never brought it and then still charged me for it? Customer service seems to be a term they do not understand in this part of the province. Everyone complains about the economy here but when you try to spend your money, they act like they are doing you a favor. Despite being one of the most beautiful places I have ever been, Nova Scotia as a whole will never garner a decent tourist industry if they do not learn how to provide good customer service.

This an old fashion diner and is great for friends and family. I have gone here for years. I really like the turkey dinner or the liver and onions Only issue, it has no wheelchair access but food is great

Good food, reasonable price. Lobster roll was a hit. Would recommend. Service good, attentive server. Family oriented.

Breakfast - expensive. Service was long and somewhat crotchety despite lots of servers. Soup was homemade but poor. Turkey in it was so dry it pained my teeth. And was really loaded with celery. Couldn't do a simple substitution of toast for tomato slice. Son liked his French toast and other liked his Caesar wrap.
