The Whitman House - Truro

Amazing food, wonderful service, great atmosphere, fair prices. Excellent swordfish, gourmet quality steak, fine dessert, excellent bread- we forgive the $5 surcharge! We eat at many well-rated restaurants but this is definitely at the top of thelist.

First time here on a last minute search for dinner. The Teriyaki chicken was very tender and flavorful. The prime rib was also excellent.

The food was very well prepared, but lacked any distinct flavor (a steak fresh caught cod). The wait staff were very nice. This might be a good place to eat, but I would not recommend it for anything special.

Nice place, cozy, and friendly. As far as the food... it's sort of a mixed bag. Some things on the menu are really great and others are a disappointment. Ask for details before ordering.
