Boland Thomas Vineyards - TRUMANSBURG

The Micro-Wine restaurant is located within the city limits of Trumensburg and is a great place to visit. Situated on the side of a hill, the terrace offers a view of the bustling streets in this historic city. The owner, Herr Thomas, and his wife, whose surname the restaurant is named after, are both very involved in running the establishment. Herr Thomas took the time to chat with us, answer any questions we had, and made some excellent recommendations. He is very personable and passionate about wine, having transitioned from a carpentry background to pursue his hobby and turn it into a successful business. The wine selection at Micro-Wine is top-notch, with a great variety of wines and an excellent selection of roses. We had a fantastic experience relaxing on the terrace and indulging in a wine flight. We also purchased a bottle of their delicious dry rose to enjoy later.

This café-style winery is charming. It may not have sprawling fields or a stunning view, but it is situated in a lovely small town and has a cozy covered deck for outdoor seating. It's a great spot to visit on a rainy day. The staff were friendly and they have board games available for guests to enjoy while they relax. They serve wine flights in quirky shredded glasses, but will provide regular glasses upon request.

It’s just really perfect here. Friendly proprietors, delicious wine and a lot of effort to make a cozy, safe outside experience for those who want to be outside. I love e it here!

Mark couldn’t have been nicer. He was so kind to our family even the Littles. Great wine to boot. Perfect stop for an afternoon tasting.
