Contribuiți la feedbackHave eaten at lots of Michelins. This was flat out a stunningly wonderful meal completely in that class. Visually beautiful. Incredible small ingredient touches around the edges of dishes. The execution on two different fish dishes was flawless. One of the best amuse bouches we have had. Candidly, this was unexpected at a hotel restaurant where we had eaten previously a huge upgrade. Kudos to all of you
My family and I visited The Ritz-Carlton Lake Tahoe for dinner at Manzanita for my birthday this year. In the off-season, this high end ski resort is a peaceful place to dine, free of the swarms of hungry skiers and snowboarders. It was an enjoyable experience, luxurious being the first word in my mind. The service was impeccable, our server Gabby was attentive and inviting, making sure our every need was taken care of. As a wine enthusiast, their list was beautifully curated with something for everybody, although curiously lacking a sherry selection for a place featuring Pacific-Northwest Mexican fusion. Featuring a seasonal menu that changes regularly, the scallops were a delight, served with wood fired carrots and butternut squash puree. And the salmon with a rice paper sprayed in spirulina was exceptional and made a beautiful lunch from the leftovers. The real touch for me was the plate of mini macarons they served for dessert, served on a plate with a hand piped, Happy Birthday. Needless to say, I cannot wait to go back.
Absolutely amazing food!! We came for dinner and loved it so much we came back for brunch.
We stopped at Manzanita for an after dinner dessert and drinks. Starting for the beautiful ride on the gondola under the stars all the way to the outstanding decor and service at Manzanita we loved the experience! And look forward to book it for dinner! The kitchen is in full view. Their cellar spectacular! We even found Tocai!
Sub-par. Not sure why this restaurant is in a Ritz Carlton.
