There was a bit of a wait and service was slammed but that?s all expected in a touristy town and they did a great job getting us in and fed. Just plan ahead?and order a drink while you wait in the patio and let your kid climb the rocks.
We had the yellow tail grilled fish and it was truly well cut, cooked and plated called hamachi kama. I am big fish lover, and this place does it right. The service was very good. They guided us what we can like and helped us to order the right items on the menu. My daughter got hosomaki with some added items inside like spinach and eel. Hosomaki was the best we ever got so far. They paid good attention to our table. Well served. Special thanks to chef Nedim and all the staff for the amazing experience.
This is our favorite place to eat while on vacation. We often talk about coming here specifically for the sushi and then heading home. It's just that delicious! The calamari has changed since COVID, but the food is still amazing.
Overall, the variety of sushi rolls is quite limited, with most of them featuring fried shrimp. However, the sushi is pretty decent for a restaurant in the mountains. I found the dishes to be a bit overly salty. On the positive side, the service was excellent, and the overall atmosphere of the place was pleasant. The calamari dish was really good and satisfying. It was enjoyable, though I expected a bit more.
We were excited for a truly authentic Japanese dining experience, especially with the beautiful wooden chopsticks and stylish decor. We ordered edamame, a chicken appetizer, a sushi roll, salmon nigiri, and two bowls of ramen. Unfortunately, the ramen was excessively salty and barely edible. The chicken appetizer was tasty, though it felt more like a fusion dish than authentic Japanese cuisine. The salmon nigiri was extremely disappointing; I have made sushi at home with salmon that I chose myself, and even as an amateur cook, I could select better cuts than what was served here. It was the worst salmon nigiri I have ever encountered. On a positive note, the sushi roll was quite good, but it didn’t justify the prices given the overall quality of the food. In summary, we had high hopes for this restaurant but left feeling quite let down.
