Brasserie Vosgienne - Troyes

This is a great spot to people watch as you have a drink or light lunch. He Brasserie seems to have only 2 waiters. The woman works very hard, but the man basically ignores you. Food and drink were fine, but don’t come here if you are in a hurry.

Old place as French classic perfect spot to get coffee or grab a drink. Center of town this place is circle 1939. You will have a good service and sometimes a “French “ attitude but is part of the game and the team is perfect and professional. Limited pastry in the morning because the bar buy at one of the best place in town If you want breakfast…come early . Some light food as croque monsieur. Good place to relaxing under the tree and see French people doing her stuff Sunny patio and shade .

We were having a wander through the old town and stopped off here on our way back to the car. We had our dog with us and sat outside. It was March but not cold in the sun. Great spot to watch the world go by, we noticed some ladies with dogs inside as well. The cakes looked delicious but we stuck to two excellent cafe americano for 3.70eu which was not bad given the location. We were served with a smile also. All that was needed really.

Alhough not busy at all, it took a very long time to get served. And be wary of your change... The guy took my 50 euro note for a 10 and did not return any change until I called him. Tourist rip off??
