Sushi King - Troy

Yummy yum crab rangoon and cold noodles in peanut sauce. My kid loves the food there and the new renovation they have done is a very family friendly and comfortable setting. Spicy tuna roll is also one of my many favourites there.

I love that they serve different twists on standard fare kung pao lo mein, for example. I’ve never had a bad experience or dish. Always been greeted friendly when dining in and take out/delivery holds up well.

I had their Sunomono, which is typically a vinaigrette salad, but  their 's said '5 pieces of different fish with sesame sauce. ' Anyhow it was five pieces of sushimi over slightly pickled julienne cucumber, the sunomono part I guess. Anyhow the sushimi was very fresh and this place is a good value.

Different and delicious. This review pertains to one specific menu item, the Wontons in Spicy Peanut Sauce. I love them. It's the sauce that sends me over the moon and I have to come get them every time I am home; just the right amount of kick and the green onions are so fresh on top, I get the appetizer with a side of steamed white rice and it is fantastic. I have had the sushi here about a decade ago, and it was good from what I can remember, but once I found this appetizer I have never gotten anything different from the menu.

Cute waitress. Nice restaurant, not terriffic, but shows potential and I hope they do well. Pretty decent food too and cheap. I'll come back if I'm ever in Troy, NY again.
