Old Detroit Burger – Troy

Went here with some of my friends and our server jen was really nice and gave us some really good recommendations for food, servers tend to be more rude to my friends because one of them does have a disability and she was the only server i have met to be super friendly and very understanding with us, she recommended the potato skins and they were delicious and also the nachos which where just as good, 10/10 would definitely recommend

I had the Detroit style Slim Jim.It was NOTHING like the Slim Jim we are accustomed to. It was a ham and cheese sandwich. The bun wasn't even toasted. On a positive note, the wait staff was very pleasant. But 14 dollars for a simple ham and cheese sandwich with fries? I'll pass, thank you.

Great burgers cooked to perfection. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Service was great and so is the atmosphere for group gatherings.

My first visit here was disappointing. Despite the nice atmosphere, the staff were incredibly rude. When we asked for a booth, we were told that section was closed and given a table near the bathrooms and kitchen. We moved to the next table, and the woman 's reaction was unprofessional, exclaiming, OH MY GOD. Despite the nearly empty restaurant, it felt like they didn 't want to serve us.The woman claimed she couldn 't understand our order due to the music and sent someone else. However, when a new group arrived, she had no trouble taking their order. It became clear we were not welcome. Despite this, we ordered drinks and food.The service remained poor. The drinks and food were brought quickly, but we were asked if we needed a box to go just two minutes later. It felt like they wanted us out.The beer, specifically the Coors Light draft, was subpar, tasting watered down. The food was the biggest disappointment. The slider sampler was overly salty, especially the corned beef, which left me with stomach issues the next day. The chicken tender slider was dry and chewy, tasting like it had been reheated. Even fast-food chicken sandwiches are better. The only redeeming dish was the sweet potatoes.Overall, I will never return to this restaurant. The poor service, bad beer, and terrible food made for an unpleasant experience.

Bad exp..avg food..waiter was not even pleasant and after asking to split the bill ..put the entire bill in my credit card. Never going back
