Jiff-e-mart Iii - Troy

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The state of the front entrance was quite telling; garbage was overflowing from two bins, and there were cigarette butts littering the sidewalk where an employee was sitting and smoking on a milk crate. The vestibule desperately needed cleaning; a simple sweep could have made a huge difference. Inside, the restaurant appeared messy and neglected, with a floor that seemed to have gone weeks without being cleaned. This was early in the morning, so it wasn't just end-of-day clutter. Given the overall lack of cleanliness, I also have concerns about food hygiene. To top it off, the staff wasn’t particularly friendly. It’s clear that management needs to make some improvements. I won’t be coming back anytime soon.

I visited the restaurant on Wednesday and ordered a hero sandwich, but it turned out to be rather average. The overall cleanliness of the place was concerning, especially the bathroom, which was in poor condition. I also noticed that the napkin dispensers on the tables were empty, and the floors needed cleaning. I used to come here frequently, but it's clear that the quality has declined.

I used to enjoy dining at this restaurant, but in recent months, I've noticed a significant decline in cleanliness. Right at the entrance, both trash cans are frequently overflowing, and there's litter scattered on the ground. This was early in the day, so there's really no reason they shouldn't have emptied them the night before. I also observed an employee outside sitting on a milk crate, smoking and discarding cigarette butts on the sidewalk. Inside, the floor appeared to be in dire need of sweeping or mopping; again, this should not be the case at this hour. Overall, the place looks messy and untidy, raising concerns about the cleanliness of the food preparation areas. I stopped by today to see if there had been any improvements, but, unfortunately, there haven't been any changes.

Slow and unfriendly service, not a great value for money, and not even that good (meatball parm sub). There's a lot of places that do what they do better.

The breakfast egg sandwiches are weak and over priced for what they are. The breakfast burritos and pizza are fantastic, but are sadly not available some days.The cook loves his job and is a welcome face in the morning as he greets me enthusiastically everyday.If there were more to-go lunch options available in the morning I think I would often buy lunches when I do stop for breakfast.
