First Watch - Troy

I recently discovered an amazing new breakfast and lunch spot in the Big Beaver and 16 Mile area! They offer wonderfully creative menu options that are both delicious and beautifully presented. I especially appreciate having a coffee pot right on the table! Plus, they give you a free meal on your birthday! Highly recommend!

I tried the matcha latte pancakes, and they were some of the best pancakes I’ve ever had! The flavors were fantastic, with just the right amount of sweetness—not overly sweet at all. They were also perfectly moist. I also ordered a side of the savory chicken sausage patties, which were excellent! I can't wait to return.

The food was quite good, although a bit on the expensive side for breakfast. The bacon was excellent, and I appreciated having coffee on the table along with the stylish creamers. The ambiance of the restaurant was fantastic, and the service was exceptional. I will definitely return!

My coworker friend and I visited here for the first time this morning. I was skeptical because I’d read reviews of bad service and long wait times. Not the case today. Right away I was greeted and seated. Our waitress was prompt, visited once to ask how our food was. I had the avocado toast (w/the basted eggs) perfect! Exactly as pictured I might add. A side of regular bacon, Açaí squeeze juice and a cold brew coffee. Perfect brunch. My friend enjoyed her food as well. I need to bring my hubby next and other brunch friends. Can’t wait to visit again and try the other dishes!

I have eaten breakfast at the First Watch in Overland Park, KS and it’s always wonderful! So fresh, creative and healthy! Can’t wait to have one here in Troy!
