Amar Pizza - Troy

I'm genuinely surprised that this restaurant is still operating. The food is among the worst I've ever tasted, and the prices are outrageous. When you provide the owner with any feedback, he responds with a sense of arrogance, saying things like, "Oh, we prefer to do it this way instead."

I found my experience at this restaurant to be disappointing and not worth the time or money. The person at the front desk was quite rude, and I was surprised by how expensive it was. Additionally, the portion sizes were misleading; what they labeled as "large" was actually much smaller compared to other pizza places I've visited.

This is my favorite pizza spot, and my family's top choice is the Philly Cheese Steak thin crust pizza. They really satisfy our pizza cravings! It's a carry-out only place, but the staff is very attentive when taking orders.

It was just okay. I had better pizza from the same place was delicious more than this time. I don't know if they changed something or not.

We've loved Amar's since they were in Fraser. We can't get it nearly as often now because Troy is a bit of a pain for us especially with the roadwork but it's still our favorite pizza place. Especially the seafood pizza and spice pizza. They are the only pizza place I know of that does a spicy kind of Cajun style seafood pizza rather than a creamy white sauce seafood pizza. Kind of expensive but not much more so than Jets would be.
