Overall, I would highly recommend coming here if I were looking for an upscale culinary experience, surrounded by great prospect.
Make sure to book a reservation ahead of time. This restaurant is a bit on the fancy side. Make sure to dress well. We showed up in shorts and hiking sandles, and looked a bit out of place. The atmosphere is really nice. It's quiet, no music, just the view and the nice warm weather outside. The service, right from entering the door, is excellent. The servers are helpful and know the menu well. We ordered the beets for appetizer, the Halibut, and the Ribeye steak. The beets were surprisingly well put together as a dish. Well cooked, soft, and tasty with the tofu. The orange was a bit out of place, and perhaps adding walnuts may have been a better touch. The Halibut was amazing honestly. The best fish I've ever tasted anywhere. It was a very unique flavor. Adding lemon to it was good too. The asparagus was good too. The Ribeye was plentiful, well cooked, and flavorful. I wouldn't say it's the best steak I've had, but it's the second for sure. The whole plate was great to be honest. Usually, I leave the steak for last. However, the potato mesh, the brockly, and the pickled onions were amazing that I just ate whatever came uo next. It all tasted good. Overall, we really enjoyed our experience here. The view is amazing, and you get to eat this great food while looking at it.
This place is so incredible with one hell of a chef. We saw their billboard on the way to Bryce Canyon (yes outdoor advertising works), so I made a call and took the first reservation I could get. It?s not often that I?m in total awe of the artistry and taste profile created by a chef, but Ron Baker completely blew my mind. I do have to say, I am a bit disappointed that the website and menus don?t mention him because he?s packing some real star power. Before I dig into the food, I do want to make a shout out to the exceptional serving staff, specially Jesus and Trey who served us on the two nights we ended up eating here. Yes, 2 because the experience was that amazing. The quality of service was impeccable and the entire restaurant staff was organized and efficient. This is what makes a restaurant successful IMO. Jesus knew the menu incredibly well and gave us the best recommendations, down to the wine. Now back to Ron?s food (and his wife who is in charge of the pantry and appetizers). Wish I knew her name but I had to ask around to even figure out who the chef was. Night #1 the flavor of the Grilled Pork Chop was creative, uniquely unexpected and lip smacking good. The 14oz Ribeye with chimichurri sauce was also epic. ?? Night #2 the 8oz Filet with tarragon butter and the Rainbow Trout special were also great. We also had the Roasted Beets with this incredible jalapeño salsa blew us out of the water. I can?t say enough amazing things about this place. Next time I come to Bryce though, I?m staying at the Stone Canyon Inn because what we didn?t get to enjoy was the epic property this restaurant lives in.
In the midst of nowhere, but so glad we stumbled on this place! eating is incredible! such a great experience and insight that they sit outside on the deck. in any case worth a visit!
We were for a night after a day in the bryce canyon in the stone canyon and had the pleasure to eat here, their restaurant before place. the view from the deck is incredible, all the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and attentive. our waiter jesus gave big details on some of the dishes to help me choose a French swirl suppe and the black jesus! my wife had the reeds and healed. we both really enjoyed our eating. dessert was also delicious. I recommend the cheesecake. my only knock and this is probably personal preference that the French wobbler soup was not as rich as I want. it was quite tasteful and I stripped the floor, but the wobbles were not cooked up to the super dark color I love. but now I'm only picky :
