La Cage - Brasserie sportive

Great place to watch the game, and for families, good, the popcorn was a hit with the children and of course, if their children are loud or restless nobody will notice. However, eating is unusable and the prices will be their eyes pop. I like it for a beer with friends; but for the kitchen I would go on the road for sushi or smell.

Came here several times in the mai 2012 (memorial cup.) mainly because of the sports side and the proximity where our shuttle went to shawinigan. it was in order, typical beer and restaurant tariff. bartenders were friendly (natural.) eating was in order, nothing to call home with your mother. but I'd probably visit again because of the atmosphere.

Very expensive (40 for a simple monster hamburger and pommes. I could have made my own monster hamburger home (2x time better) for $4. I couldn't like the drunk screaming group that was almost hostile to each other. I should call the cops during my meal. it was full of high testosteron tattooed aggressive men.

With my 14 Y.o. and I managed to lead a $80 bill. a beer, a juice, a nachoteller and 2 dinners a la carte service was good, just eat ok. rest. wait until I am rich before I come back. or at least...will never get rich when I go on.

We showed up on a Thursday late afternoon and not being a sports fan, I hadn't realized it was the Montreal Canadiens' elimination game. We were asked if we had reservations not but when I told the host we'd be in and out...in an hour, service permitting, he gave us a table. The food was good and the kids loved the free popcorn, but because of the impending game, the conversation buzz was very high and the volume on the TVs, with their sports commentary and speculation was loud. I imagine on nights with no important games it would be at a more comfortable level. I'm certainly willing to try it again to see!
