Bistro l'Ancetre - Trois-Rivières

This restaurant is a must-visit when you're in town. Located in the heart of old Trois-Rivieres, the place exudes a quiet and charming atmosphere. The food is excellent, the service is attentive and friendly. The owner even takes the time to personally visit every table to ensure that customers are satisfied.

We had a lovely and peaceful evening at the restaurant. Our server, Patrick, provided friendly and attentive service. While the table d'hôte (set menu) was a bit pricey, it was definitely worth it. My partner enjoyed the chicken drumstick and I opted for the lobster and shrimp ravioli. We also tried the tuna tataki and fried calamari as delicious appetizers during our vacation.

I really enjoy dining at this restaurant. The food is great and reasonably priced. However, I do think that the menu could be improved as it is quite limited.

We had the pleasure of eating in this charming bistro in the mai and came quite randomly on it. eating is excellent, service impeccable and it was classified as one of our most unforgettable culinary experiences during our trip to Canada.
