Wanda's Restaurant & Lounge - Trochu

Excellent food - wing nights are very good - Saturday buffet really good variety of entries and desserts.

Don't go in and think you and your mate will be dining alone. The owner Wanda, comes to your table to serve you and the next thing you know she is sitting with you as you are attempting to eat the cuisine but saddly can not because the owner is far to casualy comfortable and chatting away trying to make all appearance that this is acceptable.Order for pick up only and visit with the real person you wanted to çonverse with your significant other!

After being told by the staff, the pizza here was very good, I decided to order a small Ham Pizza. It was average at best. The pizza struggled to have any identity. The crust was on the thin side, but it wasn't a thin crust pizza. The sauce was barely noticeable, the ham was minimal, as was the cheese. Because it's a small town, restaurant options are very sparse. If you feel like pizza and your in Trochu, then this place will be ok. But don't expect the pizza to be top notch. It's average at best. Judging by the average rating of the pizza, I would assume the rest of the menu items are also average.

I try to get together with a group of young adults once a month, and visiting around a table with a bunch of chicken wings has proven to be our go to. Wanda's was recommended to me, so we decided to give it a try. Great service, great prices great selection....and the wings were amazing to boot!! We have been a couple of times now, and will be returning. Wanda was very accommodating to our group and that goes a LONG way to keeping customers!

When you walk in it looks like a little Cafe. Dont be fooled by the look of the restaurant. The food is GOOD! We have been twice now in 2 weeks. Best mushroom soup in the surrounding towns. Not thick and gluggy like some other places do it. TONS of mushrooms. Just delicious. First time we went we got a complimentary muffin. So nice! We went for wing night cos I love wings . They have 30something flavors I think. We tried the hot, thai, fury, salt and pepper, garlic pepper and lemon pepper. It was so yum we ate 40 wings total. Such piggies. Very impressed that they use sea salt for the salt and pepper wings and not your standard table salt. The wings were succulent and juicy. You can order minimum 5 wings of each flavor so we had a lot to try! Id come here again ! Cant wait for prime rib and seafood night. *drool* And the owner, Wanda, is super friendly and helpful!
