Sea Gull - Trivandrum

We went to this restaurant during the week. I chose a local dish, expecting a delicious treat, but was disappointed to hear they were out of spinach. Despite this, the dishes we did order were quite tasty. They have nice tankards for serving soda, which sets them apart from other restaurants. If you sit at a table along the sea wall, bring a torch to help you navigate the steps.

The best place to have fresh sea foods all food we had here was yummy .They have good collection of music which make you feel nostalgic. ..

We've dropped in a few times now, either for drinks or meals and have had a warm welcome every time from Paul the proprietor.Nice for unwinding with a beer watching the fisherman catch fish right outside the restaurant at the end of the day. It makes a fun change from the hotel environment.Food hot, beer cold it doesn't get much better than that.

Just .take ur time there! Good food, a very nice guy ( POUL is an absolutlly great guy) , sea .wonderful sunset .that kind of strange...just lovely IS A MUST!

Under the management of Watersedge. Pre COVID the owner was excellent and organised a couple of large private events for me which went so well. He was responsive to every request and everything went so well and on time. Unfortunately this man died a couple of years ago and only the Manager is in place. Sunil is non responsive to messages, meaning visits had to be made in person and followed up with telephone calls. This was only a small event but absolutely nothing was ready on time and Sunil did nothing to help. Just stood there looking like a fool asking one person to get everything organised. Very disappointing compared to previous much larger events. Sunil was not at all helpful and did not respond at all to my follow up message and was arrogant and took no responsibility to my follow up phone call. Therefore I recommend not booking this venue for an event or special occasion. I made the follow ups to try to avoid making this poor review. But in the absence of any appropriate response I feel that this review is necessary Pakoras are awful and to be avoided. Spring rolls are very good. Setting is beautiful on the wall at sunset time. Waiter Manu is great. So possibly a place to drop into, but don’t try to plan anything here as Sunil is totally inept
