I was here almost 5 years ago, thinking about this place almost every day. Incredible staff, service, food, rooms, views? I miss it a lot!!

Last week, the second time our family took vacation here. The first time was about five years ago COVID. The facilities, rooms, food and staff were as world-class as we remembered. Thank you to all for their kindness to accept our autistic son, and the celebration of the 50. to make my wife's birthday a wonderful experience. For the curious, I would say that the best part of this resort is the 3 meals a day included in the room price. The food is up there with the best resort food you will find all over the world, but the focus of the Fogo Island and the NL cuisine is really special. Whether you want to read and read off a dramatic rocky coast or have guided hikes around the island, this resort is really about doing your thing without pressure.

You can park the car and take the way to the hotel. You have some beautiful seating around a fireplace where you can sit and enjoy the ambience. If you don't stay at the hotel, you can't walk in.

The staff. They are amazing. From Sandra who greets you and makes sure everything goes perfectly, to the dining staff and kitchen. The creative chefs make something new and unique every day and the servers and bar staff are also outstanding and extremely friendly and accommodating. The Inn itself is a daring concept by Zita Cobb and a feat of architectural beauty. It is situated on rocky terrain with an unsurpassed panoramic view of the ocean. We?ve visited this spectacular Inn twice now and hope we can make it there one more time. Thanks to everyone, the front desk, the people who shuffle the cars, the housekeeping staff, and especially Zita who followed her dream and created not only this fabulous place but contributed so much to the community of Fogo Island.
