Mastro Birraio - TRIESTE

I like places where you immediately understand that they know what they are doing. You spend time understanding what you want and giving you the right proposal. Small and cozy, just what we needed on a rainy Sunday. The burger and the beer were very good. Sure we'll be back when we're in town.

Mastro Birraio is a small and cozy beer pub that offers a wide range of local and international craft beers. The burgers and fries we had were also good. When I asked if I could buy one of the local beers anywhere to take home, the owner Daniele went beyond the call of duty and contacted the brewer directly to ask him. I'll make sure I come back when I return to Trieste.

The best craft beer location in Trieste. Daniele, the bartender, is welcoming and knowledgeable. Also his English is excellent, so if you are out of town, you are not afraid to visit. Choose a decent number of beers on tap rotation and some bottles. A really worthwhile visit when you stop in Trieste. I'll be back.

Cool little beer bar with a nice tap selection. Also a small cooler with additional beers in bottles and cans. Not what I would consider normal beer bar...

Nondescript exterior, and you can easily miss it walking by, but outside is a chalkboard beer list, and inside is a cozy, intimately lit, wood-centered,...
