El Fornel - TRIESTE

It looked like a nice restaurant. And it is, a very nice decor. However service was slow (the waiter did apologize due to troubles in the kitchen). The food, I found, was really bland. Bit disappointed.

Went here because it looked good from the outside, but we were a bit disappointed. The food was rather pricy but also not too good. Also, we waited about 40 minutes for 5 meals. The waiter was nice and the ambiente was ok.

The food was good (seafood pasta and grilled squid) but the portions were a bit small and the price a bit high. The interior decorations are nice and rustic.

We accidentally discovered the restaurant. very good food (the best in our Trieste holiday), good wine and friendly waiters. we can recommend the restaurant.

Very nice local, central and recalls the proximity to the sea of the city, very kind and passionate restaurateur to his craft. we ordered a piece of mussels, very good, a pasta with sardines, delicious, mixed fried, exquisite, cuttled salad, fresh and good and cuttled in humid, good. we liked it very much and we paid little.
