Contribuiți la feedbackGeorg’s is my favorite restaurant in trier. it can be perfect for a date or to relax with friends or even to eat with children. I love the style of the chef chef of fine European cuisine, the aromen are always alive and rich and so fresh. as possible. my friend and I had several places to talk with the owners/cook them holiday in French katalonia with a friend weingut to try to pair their food with the rich aromes of the weine, but he takes inspiation from many different countries. because the menu changes seasonal, I can not recommend a certain plate, but the meeresbass on a bed roasted vegetables and parsnip puree was one of my favorite as well as their lemon basilikum sorbet (served as a palate cleaner) .
Had dinner with my wife and a friend. decoration wise I would rate ok, the paper serviettes or the white tiled floor do not impress (the impression of half a complete work. kerzenhalter on the table with designer plates, but what about the paper serviettes? appeared full, which was a good sign. our waitress seemed to be a qualified (probably also underpaid) student who tried to earn some money served the guy first the ladies. could not give a real greeting, the drinks delivered late as well as a separate (not to mention them literally pumped re-water bottle on the table). had to be reminded twice of our order for extra brot. starter came after about we finally called an older lady who looked like the manager (she was dressed like a housewife, simply lacked the house rubber pantoffeln and apron). we have our complaining and watching only directed to them to get a half-hearted excuse that they were supported this evening because of the carnival activities (no warning what the link was, maybe they get their waiter over ebay and lost the gave them must have a word with the waitress, because after that the waitress seemed to ask us if we were to ask ourselves the waitress. on the other side, eating was very good, but the service and the facility (forget to mention the neglected toilets) simply ruined that positive thing. the manager (or the putzfrau) asked us for insulting that it was all in order, in a ton that sounded more than she wanted to have the last word and not that she was interested when we left. Unfortunately, this is another example of how service can stink in trier restaurants. if only more places realize that good food alone is not enough just now a day except for points in tripadvisor instead of definat not recommended.
There are not so many places in trier where they can enjoy delicious food. this restaurant we have visited last year for the first time and have been there three times! friendly staff, fresh interieur, delicious food and pleasant owners make their stay really competitive. Die Bedingungen waren sehr aufmerksam und haben uns einen entspannten Abend ermöglicht. Wunderbares Essen. Es blieben keine Wünsche offen. Im Sommer gibt es Plätze auf der Terrasse. Man hat eine gute Sicht auf das Südbad. Nicht unerwähnt möchte ich den besonders tollen Service auf der Toilette lassen. Kleine Händehandtücher, Erfrischungsprodukte u.v.m. Tipp :Probieren Sie das köstliche Eis und die Sorbets. Alle Gerichte waren sehr gut zubereitet. Immer wieder gerne gesehen: Gruß der Küche sowie das leckere Baguette mit erfrischendem Dipp.
Wir waren letzte Woche auf Empfehlung von Freunden im Restaurant, alles war perfekt. Der Empfang, die Raumgestaltung, die Dekoration, das Essen, der Wein und vor allem der aufmerksame und professionelle Service von Frank muss hier einfach hervorgehoben werden. Wir gehen sehr oft, auch in gute Restaurants, leider mangelt es oft an einem guten Service. Hier hat alles wunderbar zusammen gepasst. Wir kommen gerne wieder...
