Le Ortensie - TREVIGNANO ROMANO

We arrived in the early evening without a reservation, despite being very busy, they set us up a table quickly- We had great service from a server with very good english and enjoyed the food and wine very much Beautiful setting on the lake-feels like you are eating at someone's very elegant lake house Grazie!

Sofia and Denise looked after us impeccably. The food and wine were delicious, antipasto, meat, pasta, pizza all fantastic. Great spot on the lake, too, with a lovely garden. If I had read the reviews, I probably wouldn’t have come but I happened upon this place, and am glad I did.

Visiting friends in Trevignano Romano and ended up in the wrong place. Friends of ours often visit Trevignano Romano and this year we joined them for a trip to Italy, it’s a lovely country and the food is great however the lunch I’m reviewing is the worst culinary experience during our Italian trip. While the lake is inviting nothing else is about this place. The mussels were apparently not fresh and floating around is water with a twist of lemon and oil and the clam pasta we had was completely overcooked and tasted of garlic. We decided to leave without saying too much or ordering dessert because the maitre was terribly rude (we understand Italian) and we felt out of place because of the other clients present, incredibly loud believing they’re the only ones present. We told our friends from the village about our horrible experience and they all laughed at us saying we chose the worst place around. We didn’t find it funny at all and to save anyone who reads this from making the same mistake we did I’ve registered and I’ve taken the time to write this review. Do stay away, it’s just not worth it because the kitchen staff is clearly not trained while the waiters are rude, the only nice thing is the view.

Da più di un anno, in famiglia e con amici, frequento con assiduità questo vero e proprio angolo di paradiso, continuando ad incontrare gradevoli conferme di segno nettamente positivo, sia per quanto riguarda la cortesia, sia per quanto riguarda la qualità dei piatti, dai primi alla pinsa, dagli antipasti agli ottimi dolci. Comodo, poi, il parcheggio interno!

Uno dei migliori luoghi dove poter consumare una cena in ambiente tranquillo, servizio sempre ottimo, la pinsa è veramente di livello come anche i vari antipasti proposti. Consigliato vivamente
