Gateway Lobster Pound - Trenton

Best food we have had thus far. Everything was delicious. Had the seaside special which was the lobster roll and clam chowder. Also tried the blueberry soda which was tasty. May hit this place again before heading out in a few days.

Not exactly what I had in mind for my east coast lobster experience but ok. The lobster roll I ordered was good, but I guess I expected a little more flavor. My husband had a burger and water, I had a glass of wine and sweet potatoe fries. Our bill was over $60 +tip.

Loved the lobster roll. Tasted plump and buttery. I ordered a side of pasta salad and although it was just a pasta salad. It was a dam good pasta salad.

A great place to stop before you get into the hustle bustle of Bar Harbor. The clam chowder was delicious!

Good little roadside eatery. Prices ok, service good.
