Be warned that its only shellfish that they serve, no hot dishes apart from soup and no other fish dishes. Its a fairly basic but friendly setting,...a friendly owner and best to book in advance.
Booked for an evening meal and we were not disappointed. a small, informal restaurant in the first floor above a fish dealer shop this was a fantastic sound. Excellent eating, we had the seafood platter that was excellent and a friendly host. good value for money... and safe a place to go back.
One of our 3 party has a heavy food intolerance on seafood. on recommendation by Jean-Pierre from poissonerie moulinet, who also gave us a short run over a zigarette of local history, we have booked a table with frédéric at le Bistro...d'Ernest for the next day. we have a combination of fruit de mer from Jean-Pierre (remove her le bistro) with a great selection of fine, honest breton eat and wein. a great culinary experience in a great place.
An excellent seafood lunch in the upper floor restaurant is the fresh shellfish from the fish merchant in the ground floor. our long (crayfish) were simply served with good french bread and a selection of wines. we had not booked and had luck getting the last table. friendly staff and fast service highly recommended.
Restaurant au dessus de la poissonnerie, salles un peu exigües. Homard et plateaux de fruits de mer sont d'une fraîcheur évidente , jolis plateaux à 25€, demi homard à 27€, 90€ à trois. Parfait pour fruits de mer.
