Chateau D'herbelon - Treffort

Having been unable to eat here on our last visit (it was full), we decided to try our luck again. How lucky we were! The rain and clouds allowed us to sample this gem of a restaurant all on our own. Our table overlooked the lake and we felt a million miles away from everything. Hubby and I had four course menus and the girls had the kids' menu. The attention to detail was amazing. Our food was pretty and delicious! We would not hesitate in coming back again.

We chose the peche heureuse which had a pastry outine of a fish on the dish, never seen such imagination

We e joyed our dinner in this really atmospheric and traditional lakeside setting. Staff were friendly and the food was fantastic.

Well welcomed, very beautiful setting and very beautiful castle. As for restoration, it is excellent for both eyes and taste buds. We highly recommend.
