Pleasanton Brick Oven Bakery

I was really disappointed that the bakery was closed. It's one of my favorite places to stop when we visit. The fennel date sea salt bread is fantastic, and the lavender lemon cookies are simply incredible!

We initially overlooked this bakery since it was right across from our accommodation, but we ended up purchasing their baked goods every morning during our three-day stay in Traverse City. Don't pay attention to the older negative reviews; the staff is extremely friendly and skilled. And the food! The miso caramel croissants are exceptional, and the cinnamon rolls are just as amazing. The bread is fresh and robust. This bakery will definitely be on our list for our next visit to TC!

Incredible bread! It's a must-try when visiting Traverse City. They always offer samples, which is a great touch.

Delicious breads!!! What a wonderful bakery. Cheerful staff and such a great and different section of breads- the cranberry orange Christmas loaf this year was just so so good. And the herb scones and the jalapeño cheddar bread. I could go on, but will stop! Go get their bread!!!
