Happy's Taco Shop - Traverse City

We came to the food truck area to give children a chance to choose their own types of food. Everything was good, the real star of the show was the smoked potatotaco of Happy's. I'll think about this Taco. Sooo good....so very good. It has all aromas and textures go. I never thought I loved a potatotaco like that. It must be one of the best tacos I've ever had. I want another one until I can make it for more. Great job! Try this Taco when you're in Traverse City.

You really need to eat spicy food here, I ordered the regular Super Burrito, not the spicy super Burrito, and it had another kick. This is not an authentic Mexican food, but they also do not try to be, it is more niche, so if you are looking for something else, this is a good place. The outside seats and fireplaces were beautiful and interior seats were socially removed. The staff was great, very friendly. But somehow overpriced so that and the smaller portion size is why it gets four stars.

Street Tacos are excellent and affordable. They have several interesting flavor combinations. I just walked with the pork and my wife got the smoked potatotaco. Both were very delicious. The salsa verde had a good taste, but was not overwhelmingly spicy.

Fantastic Burrito! Good vegetarian options with either smoked potatoes or extra pinto beans. The Burritos have a beautiful text contrast in the ingredients. Delicious hot sauce.

By far, the best tacos in TC… maybe even all of northern MI (but I can’t be 100% sure, because I haven’t tried them all). Thank you for having great plant based options! We will be back again again!!
