Northwest Grill - TRAVELERS REST

This is my go-to spot! It has a charming, diner-style atmosphere and serves delicious comfort food. My favorite moment was when I asked where the restroom was after my meal, and the response was, "Yes Ma'am, it's just around the corner!" It was sparkling clean! It's a cozy little place, and they also have homemade sweet tea! I ordered the hamburger steak, roasted green tomatoes, macaroni and cheese, and a cornbread muffin—all for under $6 and made fresh. I absolutely love it!

I would give this restaurant and its staff a 5-star plus rating! My granddaughter and I had dinner there tonight for the first time, and it was fantastic. I ordered the cheeseburger, which featured a handmade fresh patty and freshly cut French fries. She had the chicken tenders, and they were incredible as well. This place is definitely a must-try—you won't be disappointed! Thank you, John!

Probably the best burger I’ve eaten. I can’t recommend the chili cheese fries enough. Do yourself a favor and eat here!

John and his home away from home is one of the best places to go eat whether you want a burger and fries or a meat and 3. He always speaks and asks how you doing and he knows if you haven’t been in a while. The food is always wonderful and he does make the best hand patted burgers and fresh cut homemade fries. Pay them a visit, you won’t be disappointed.
