The location boasts a fantastic view of the pier. The service was friendly, attentive, and enjoyable. As for the food, it was just okay; I saw the high ratings, but unfortunately, I can't quite agree...
Delicious! We discovered this restaurant while exploring the area. The food was excellent; we tried the oysters, and their vinaigrette was amazing! I ordered the...
They offered a great selection of local beers, ciders, wines, and cocktails. For my main course, I chose the turbot special, which was excellent—the fish was fresh and sweet, and the sauce along with the vegetables perfectly complemented it. I also appreciated that each entrée came with a side of vegetables. For dessert, the sticky toffee pudding was amazing. The restaurant seemed to be running with only two servers handling everything, including the host stand, so service was understandably a bit slow. However, the staff was working hard to keep up. Just take your time, enjoy the beautiful view, and don’t stress if there’s a wait for dessert or the check at the end.
The location is great with a pier view. The service was warm, attentive and pleasant. Food was okay; I noticed the high ratings, but unfortunately I can't agree. Maybe it's a 4.5* or 5* for the Dingle Peninsula, but in the bigger scheme of things, it's more like 3-3.5*. The prices were on the higher end. We ordered: 4*Tender Calamari Rings in a Salt and Pepper Panko with tangy lemon sherbet mayo: very tender, calamari lightly fried, pretty good. 3*Duo of monkfish scallops and garden greens: fish was overcooked and a bit hard to chew. 3*Wild Atlantic Seafood Platter- famous Signature Dish of Dingle Bay Seafood Chowder, Crab Claws, Tender Calamari, Freshly steamed Cromane Mussels, Scallop, Beer Battered Fish, all served on a large platter with Homemade Stout Bread and chips and added half Lobster. The best was beer battered fish which was tender and crispy. Calamari was tender and good, too. The lobster was not fresh and overcooked, and the crab claws and the mussels were soaked in buttery sauce.
