Contribuiți la feedbackWow. Not a good wow either. We recently moved back to Trail after many years of living up north. We had heard from a few people that we should try the Chinese food in the mall since the Canton restaurant closed. These people also said it was delicious. These people are liars. Honestly, that had to be the worst Chinese food I have ever had in my entire life. I get that it is in a mall and my expectations shouldn’t be high. However, the mall where we lived also had Chinese food, and it was excellent and they sold out every night. Their sauces actually cover their foods. The food at this place looks like all the same breaded deep fried pork but with different sauces on it. And hardly any sauce! The rest of the food was tasteless, and absolutely disgusting. If people around here, think that that is good Chinese food, they have obviously never left Trail in their entire lives. I will never ever have that Mall Chinese food ever again. Soooo gross! If I was ever allergic to anything, it’d be that place. I was even grossed out watching them fill our containers but thought maybe it tasted better than it looked. Nope. That is all. This place has been classic awesome for at least 30 years. A hefty amount, for a reasonable price, with tasty flavours. Enough options for most people. I'm grateful for their consistent reliability. Food: 5 Service: 5
Generous portion sizes. You can feed 3 people for $12. It's funny reading some of the other reviews here. It's Chinese food from a mall -maybe lower your expectations a bit? Meal type: Lunch Price per person: CA$1–10
Generic, small town mall Chinese food like no other. If you can’t afford a vacation this year, let yourself be transported to mysterious eastern lands with a five item combo of indistinguishable fried things crammed into a box. Treat your senses to the exotic aromas of breaded, fried meats in sweet, vinegary sauce, as well several other kinds of breaded, fried meats in very slightly different sweet, vinegary sauce. There are also noodles. For the truly adventurous, there’s always the option take your culinary journey a step further and spice things up with what appear to be small bags of Tabasco sauce. The food definitely gives the undeniable impression that the cooks here have met someone who knows a Chinese person, or that they have at the very least seen a map of China at one point in their lives.
Love this place, I moved away almost 7 years ago and always come here when I come to visit family. Can’t come back to town without getting a 5 dish combo from here. It has tasted the same (very yummy) for as long as I can remember it! Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch Price per person: CA$10–20
