Called in for chips. Very disappointed. Asked for a regular portion, given and charged for a large portion. Food was hot but chips were too dry for chippy chips and had clearly been refried. Cash only sign by the till should have been a warning!

First visit in 3 years at this very long established chippy and was very pleased with the excellent quality of fresh food. Perfect chips: slight crispiness outside with delicious softness. Interesting mild curry and tasty peas. Spotlessly clean premises and friendly helpful service. Can highly recommend a visit for Great British Traditional Food.

Lovely chippy very friendly there always enjoy the fish and chips.

This chippy is alright, food was decent but not outstanding. Staff very friendly. Chippy itself just your average chippy.
