Sukhothai has generous portions good for sharing. The papaya salad $12.95 plus tax and the spicy Thai sausage are can’t-miss starters. The drunken noodle with chicken $15.95 came out with the requested level of heat I chose “medium” . The interior is modern and understated.
The food here is amazing! I ordered several things and everything was just incredible. Special recognition to the mango salad and coconut soup.
Unfortunately, I ordered food at 7:02p (not knowing kitchen closed at 7:30p?)I’m new to the area. I read the reviews thinking it’s safe..not realizing these views must be from people from the East Coast. Where do I start..okay I’ll start with my $54 order. Fresh Shrimp Rolls cold item put in bag with hot food all wraps were stuck together and could not be taken apart without breaking Pineapple Fried Rice w Beef Dry Dry Dry Shrimp Wraps Very good Brown Curry very sweet, couldn’t eat it..down the garbage disposal it went I asked for heat…none Eating food in Thailand..the only authentic I have experienced in USA is San Francisco. I have yet to get good Thai food on the East Coast. I’m retired military and have been all over the world. My opinion is authentic and I’m not going to lie. But remember…this is my opinion
Unfortunately, just fairly decent Thai. The drunken noodles were made with the same noodles as the pad thai. If you’ve had drunken noodles, you know it’s meant to be made from a completely different, broad noodle. Honestly, the flavors of the pad Thai and drunken noodle were hard to tell apart at all, too, making it feel like we ordered two of the same thing. Overall just not so great. The papaya salad was delicious though.
