Townsend House

Good food at great prices. Lots of seafood choices, which I've had several times. Food prices are like pre-covid. Rum runner was fantastic. They have a separate bar area. Family friendly. Parking: Gravel lot across the street Kid-friendliness: Often Lots of families with kids there. It's not so fancy a place dinners would expect to not see kids.

Most meals come with a salad, a roll, a veggie and a potato. The prices are cheap and the staff is quick but you don't feel rushed

Got the ziti and meatballs had them many times but this time there was just a very tiny amount of sauce to the point that you simply could not eat it with out sauce it was a togo order so tht did not help with a return we eat here a few times a month

I ordered medium cooked Steak tips. What I got was nearly entirely burnt and flavorless steak. My dad also ordered a medium cooled steak. It looked barley cooked at all and was definitely at most rare.

1st time at the Townsend House. Great early Mother's Day meal. Family owned and yes the family was working!! Home cooked food. Baked stuffed haddock was delicious. Onion rings lived up to their reputation (freshly made). If you haven't been, put it on your To Do List!!
