There was nothing fundamentally wrong with the dishes—good ingredients and perfectly cooked pasta—but they lacked flavor. Many dishes were oddly bland, primarily due to insufficient seasoning, and the use of herbs seemed minimal at best. The piccata should have been bright with lemon, buttery richness, and briny capers, yet it fell short in every aspect, with the chicken being fried but not crispy. The vodka penne was heavy on the cream-tomato sauce but lacked depth in flavors, tasting neither distinctly creamy nor tomatoey. The stuffed filet of sole looked generous and appealing, but it could have easily been tilapia, and the clam stuffing was lacking in clam flavor. The roasted garlic potatoes were more baked than roasted, failing to deliver that desirable texture. The spinach, however, was a bright spot—fresh and well cooked, it was swimming in a flavorful sauce. I ended up enhancing the leftovers at home the next day, adding herbs, salt, and pepper, which made them much better. Ultimately, we were disappointed that the preparation didn’t do justice to the quality of the ingredients and the overall experience.

Excellent service and delicious food! I was surprised to hear that a couple of people had negative experiences here, but nobody's perfect. I came with a party of four to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday, and we all really enjoyed our meals. As an Italian, I'm pretty critical, but I will definitely be coming back!

I will definitely be coming back to this place! My friends and I went there to enjoy some pasta and calamari, and it exceeded our expectations! The portions were generous, and the prices were surprisingly affordable; we even had to take some leftovers home because we ordered so much. Our server and bartender was not only attractive but also incredibly friendly and hardworking. The kitchen is a bit small, so the wait time for food is slightly longer than usual, but trust me, it’s worth it. The food is far from bland or overly complicated like some fancy restaurants. It’s just perfect! I give it a 5 out of 5 and can’t wait to try one of their cannoli next time!

We had an excellent dining experience here after traveling from Lakawaxen. The food did not disappoint! My wife enjoyed sautéed shrimp with penne, while I had the slightly spicy but delicious spaghetti Bolognese. If you're in a hurry, be aware that our visit lasted nearly two hours. The waitress was very friendly, and the owner personally checked in with every table as diners left. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!

I called ahead around 4:30 pm on Saturday to ask if we needed a reservation, and the woman on the phone informed me that we didn’t. When we arrived at 7 pm, however, the restaurant was completely empty and closed. It would have been helpful if they had notified us that they were about to close. The online hours aren’t accurate!
