Goldberg's Famous Bagels

Goldberg's Bagels is fantastic— the food is delicious! It's a cozy deli and bagel shop. I'm not sure what they mean by "famous"; it might just be a marketing ploy, but that's okay. Unfortunately, the staff have strong Spanish accents, which can make communication a bit challenging at times. However, that seems to be common in the Hamptons. The prices are somewhat higher than average, which is another aspect of being in this area. Regardless, I'll continue to visit because the food is good and fresh!

The service was terrible. I ordered salmon avocado bagels but received plain cream cheese bagels instead. When I brought this up, I was nearly yelled at. I would not recommend visiting this restaurant. However, I do recommend Goldberg's in Dag Harbor and East Hampton. Service: 1/5

The staff was friendly, and there was a good variety of bagels and sandwiches to choose from. It reminds me of DeliFood. Overall, I would rate it 3 out of 5.

I’ve recently started going in for breakfast and noticed a pattern of being charged more than other people for the same thing. My bagel is $3.50 and orders before and after me are being charged $3 for the same bagel. UNBELIEVABLE!! And the staff always has an attitude with my black skin when i walk in. They take my money with a smile but provide me service with a “hurry up and get out” look on their faces. I won’t be going back. Being the sprinkle of black in Wainscott i tend to notice when people are judging. Safe to say I won’t be going back. And i encourage more people to see how black people are treated there. Highly disappointed, disregarded and disrespected.

Refused to serve me food at 3:35pm. Their hours on the door and online stated that they closed at 4:00. The women behind the counter were rude and unprofessional. Would not recommend
