Contribuiți la feedbackAfter consulting a local for a recommendation on where to find good Indian food, we were directed to this restaurant. The staff was extremely friendly and took the time to detail the dishes for us. While the atmosphere was minimalistic, it was also clean. The food was delicious and offered great value for our money during our time in London. The majority of customers opt for takeout, but there are a few tables available at the back for dining in.
I have been a patron of this restaurant for years and have found the food to be inconsistent; ranging from excellent to mediocre. The counter staff seem disinterested and uninterested in the regular customers. It can be frustrating to have to repeatedly ask for raita with mint sauce. There seems to be a lack of accommodation for patrons who are not of South Asian descent. I would recommend trying the biryani with lamb on the bone and the spinach curry, although be aware that the dishes can be heavy on potatoes. It is important to order both roti and naan in advance in order for them to arrive with your meal. The food is prepared midday and replenished from the kitchen as needed. The best time to visit is between 1-2.30 PM, during the nearby mosque's prayer time. I look forward to returning to this restaurant once the Covid-19 situation passes.
I really enjoyed the food it was amazing. Excellent customer service. I highly recommend biryani house.
The surroundings and restaurant is plain and basic but i have found some of the best places can be found in the most out of the way places. Nice friendly staff where you get to hear about how and where they grew up and happy to talk openly from the heart. The Chicken Tikka Biryani was infused with a special blend of spices and different to just plain or pilau rice as full of flavour and different to anything I have had which is a good thing when it comes to food. Also comes with an egg and a large portion, I had not eaten the whole day and this filled me up. Comes with a Vegetable Curry which was savoury and complimented the dish and good size curry provided. Really enjoyed the dish and you can tell this is home made with a large menu and better than a fast food take away so worth every penny. One last thing if you ask for spicy you will get some hot chillies so it will be spicy...you have been warned.
This place specialise in grill dishes and authentic Bangladeshi dishes. Their lamb biryani is simply delicious. Bangladeshi dish such as Lotta with Jack fruit seed and prawns is delicious. Very clean premise. Staffs excellent
