Hansel Et Gretel - Tours

We passed by around 11:00. Only one table outside was occupied. We tell the waitress that we would like a table inside; she lets us in. Inside, most of the tables were free. We take a sit at a 2 chairs table but surprise, the other waitress (probably the owner), tells us on a very rude voice that everything is reserved. Inside, outside. No reserved sign on any of the tables. Rude, rude, rude. When you own a place, you should know that the attitude has a very important role in the success of your business.

Looking for lunch after lunch-time we were thrilled to find this very welcoming and comfortable cafe.The croques monsieurs were just what we needed and the cakes are exquisite. What a treat. Any future visit to Tours will definitely feature Hansel and Gretel.
