We came to find this place on the proposals of trad, and we were not disappointed. the caffe is located in a quiet small place some one-way roads in the direction of the tip of tourrettes. the tables are covered with linen clothing. an olive tree and a covered pergola. we had main dishes of cuisse de canard and salads, all well flavored and prepared. the crushed kartoffels that came with the bone were beautiful. 4 main and 8 drinks came to about 70euros, which was quite good for the quality and the beautiful environment. the service was polite and well terminated.
While I was wondering about the charming village of tourrettes, I came to a small caffe with sitting in the open for lunch. I had a delicious lunch that they served me at a charming outside place. the price was reasonable and the service was excellent.
Really a wonderful escape ! Great local menu and the staff were so friendly and helpful. If you get the chance try the quiche as it was quite possibly the best in all of France. Well done team at cafe des arts.
This place is located in the center of Tourrettes in between two art galleries. It is such a wonderful place, that I have been returning here at least 5 times since its opening back in May of this year. They prepare typical Provencal food with...all local ingredients. It is not like a classical restaurant with a huge list. All the plates the two sisters (Marie and Amelie who run this place serve are super fresh and home made however, you can taste the difference. (definitively no frozen Picard stuff . I particularly recommend the quiche Provencal (I tend to order this over and over again... . This is a baked tart with savory fillings. Simply delicious. The two owners are super friendly and sympathetic. Last time I was there, I had a good chat about art with the also very sympathetic artist of the village, Christelle. This is definitively an excellent place to enjoy lunch, strongly recommended Note: they just announced to start offering dinner as well (only some evenings, better check
