We went here for lunch last Sunday. The food was of a good standard. I had sushi to start then a chilli beef dish with rice which was very nice. The asahi beer was nice as well. The service was okay, nothing exceptional but the decor of the restaurant is very nice.
Attentive, friendly service. Started with miso soup which was authentic. Tempura was next and this was delicious; not the crispiest we've ever had but it was nice and hot and tasty. The dipping sauce served with the tempura was rather too sweet for our taste though. Main course of sushi was very lovely and the hand rolls were delicious. Seaweed salad accompaniment and very good green tea completed the picture. Reasonably-priced for this food.
The restaurant was good and quiet and the quality of the food was in the average. The only problem was that the cheapest menu is only available during the week. I will come back.
The food here is actually quite good. We were a party of ten, our orders got mixed up repeatedly but we managed fine. The prices aren't cheap but also not hugely expensive. If you're in the area and need a quick bite, this is a good place to go assuming the offer suits your taste.
