Mon Canard St-pierre - Toulouse

Place empty. Feb, 24th I had to wait for 15 minutes to have service at My table. They asked me to move to a small table because I was alone,with the vision of a wall..what?a wall not IN front of a window??!! I said that was not a nice place...They insisted, a girl with dark hair. Again the place was empty, so I left, what a horrible moment. Never be back again ... 0 points !!! Less than cero. First time in Toulouse with this atention I come here to Work for the last 10 years)

We had lunch at Au Coin de la Rue and ate outside. Service was very slow and there were long waits at each stage of the meal including a long wait to be able to order despite not being very busy. Our choices of salmon gravlax and duck were good (though the fries were rather greasy). I had to go inside to get a bill at the end as nobody appeared. This is a reasonable choice if you have a lot of time but not if you want to leave after an hour or so.

We were just wandering the streets of Toulouse after a full day of meetings and after walking along the river for a while headed down one of the million small streets and just decided to stop and eat. We sat outside and it is a great place to people watch and just take in a little more of Toulouse life. Tables are small but that is normal but for Americans it takes some getting used to. We had the goat cheese appetizer and the cassoulet which was GREAT. I am usually an oatmeal and yogurt guy but this was worth a little more time in the gym or walking the city a little more. Good experience and I would recommend.

A nice discovery on the corner of the street and a walk on the edge of the garonne a well served and very good duck caesar, I tasted in the cassoulet in the next plate, it is super good too! the copious banofee was just as excellent with a coffee a value / price in addition we are well welcomed and well served, I say, go there!

Friendly location and safe from the hustle of other institutions in the area. map obviously based on duck, but everything is well prepared with a particularly interesting service. reasonable prices.
