L'Air de Famille - Toulouse

What an excellent restaurant. Amazing value at €27 for a Saturday 3 course lunch. Beautifully presented, seasonal produce and you certainly won't feel hungry afterwards. Choice of about 5 dishes for starter and dessert with just one fish or meat dish for main course. Some classics but everything presented with imagination style and flavour. We spend a lot of time about an hour east of toulouse and I haven't been anywhere which provides such good food at such a reasonable price. The staff are all very pleasant too

Set menu was amazing. So nice to eat food the have chosen that day. Great French cuisine. Very educated sommelier and tied the food together.

Nice restaurant with refined dishes different from the usual ones offered in the different restaurants (tourist shops) of Toulouse. originality and refinement in respect of the raw material. the restaurant also offers a 32-euro menu with entrance, dish and dessert (the choice of dishes for the menu is limited to some dishes). the staff is polite and attentive. excellent desserts. We highly recommend it.

This restaurant was recommended to us on our trip to Toulouse, by the concierge at our hotel. Trust a local to introduce a local restaurant. It was truly superb! The food is delicious and the service is quick. Staff were attentive and took time to explain the menu and the choices of wine.The restaurant truly comes into its own however, when you take the first bite of the food. Wow!The prices were reasonable but there again for such great food, I would gladly pay 50 Euros per head (three courses with wine).Would thoroughly recommend L'Air de famille. In fact, I would now like to revisit Toulouse just to eat here again.

We found this restaurant last night after a mixup in reservations (my French!) but were so glad we ate here. Professional yet relaxed service. Interesting wine list. One of us had the pigeon with two slices of fois gras under the bird. I had the daurade, a mild-flavored white fish that was roasted nicely, with crisp skin. Both dishes had generous sides as well. We liked everything we tried, melon salad, panna cotta dessert. The restaurant is small but has outside seating. Entrees run in the 20 euro range, but the fixed price menu is only around 30 euro for 3 courses.
