Garam Masala - Toulouse

Op 2 augustus 2017 op grond van lovende beoordelingen dit Indische restaurant bezocht. Gelegen in het centrum van Toulouse, ongezellige entourage en pijpenla. Ongeïnteresseerde eigenaar. Het veelbelovende van- alles-wat voorafje had een hoog frituurgehalte. Kip tandoori met weinig saus en smakeloos. Kleine porties. We hadden er meer van verwacht.

Fuimos para cenar una noche que el restaurante estaba a tope con un solo camarero que no podía con todo. La comida estaba bien. Probamos el butter chicken y un curry de berenjena. Una pena que no hubiera dosa, aunque estaba en la carta.

After reading the reviews we were very hopeful to find a great Indian restaurant in Toulouse. We turned up at 7.30pm as we hadn't booked and got a table but it did fill up quick. The owner(?) was very friendly and spoke good English if your French isn't too good. The menu isn't too extensive and don't expect what we would consider an "British" Indian menu if you know what I mean. It was very nice but for me, needed a lot more spice and heat as it was so mild it didn't actually feel like a curry but it was presented well and tasted very nice. Unfortunately they didn't have any beer so it was either wine or soft drinks. We didn't try the desserts but they sounded good.

Si vous voulez manger de la dinde à la place du poulet sans goût, servi avec deux moitiés de nan décongelés et attendre 1 heure pour 12 euros allez y! Je suis choquée que le gars me dise que c'est parceque je ne connais pas la nourriture qui diffère en fonction de chaque région d'Inde... sachant que c'est un peu mon métier... j'ai jamais été déçue par trip advisor, mais là... Je regrette amèrement. C'est affreux. De la dinde.... franchement.

On a recent trip to Toulouse my daughter was craving Indian food so we checked Tripadvisor and found this gem. Probably some of the best we've ever had!! The owner and staff were so friendly and the service was great.Give it a try....you won't be disappointed.
