Contribuiți la feedbackI started dining at Mr. Chen’s pre-Covid and was elated when they reopened last year. The expansion is absolutely wonderful, and the food is as amazing as ever! Mr. Chen’s offers a genuine, authentic experience with exceptional customer service to boot. If you want what is, in this writer’s opinion, the best Chinese in Mississippi, look no further than the made-to-order scrumptious delicacies of Mr. Chen’s! Kid-friendliness: Family-friendly environment. Wheelchair accessibility: All one level, flat surface, easily wheelchair accessible up to and inside the restaurant, including ease of access to tables.
I’m new to the area so I’ve been trying to find some good Chinese food. I googled places and based on the reviews I went to Mr. Chen’s. I placed a to go order for shrimp fried rice and egg rolls. The egg rolls were good although they were tiny, more like spring rolls. The shrimp fried rice was the worst. The rice was so mushy that I could not eat it. It was almost like rice and gravy. I tried to get a feel for the flavor of the rice but I couldn’t get past its texture. I believe the shrimp were fried, but again the mushiness of the rice made everything stick together. $25 dollars wasted on (2) orders of rice (1) order of egg rolls! Maybe the other food is 5 stars, but the rice is not!
Everything is always good when my son and I visit. Just recently took my mom and aunt and now they can't stay away lol. Parking: The restaurant is located inside of the grocery store so parking is available. Kid-friendliness: They are definitely friendly to kids.
Love Mr. Chen's! Great restaurant and grocery! Fantastic fresh seafood and produce...
Not sure how anyone can question he authenticity of an Asian restaurant that serves chicken paws or bullfrog. I did not order either, but they are on the whe menu with photos. I have the dumpling soup, eggrolls and chicken pad thai. All were goo (amazing would be a stretch. It is in a shared space with very large Asian grocery store, which does appear to be well stocked. As good as some I have seen in Atlanta.
