Estelle Southern Table - Tougaloo

I recently dined at Estelle Southern Table and unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. While I had high hopes based on the restaurant's reputation, several aspects of my meal left me disappointed. The restaurant's ambiance was pleasant, with a modern and cozy decor that created a comfortable dining environment. The service was below par. Despite the restaurant not being particularly busy, our waiter took a long time to take our orders and even longer to bring out our food. The biggest disappointment was the food. Given the high prices, I expected much better quality and service. Unfortunately, the experience did not match the cost, leaving me feeling that it was not worth the money spent. Overall, my visit was underwhelming. While the ambiance was nice, the service and food quality fell short of expectations. I hope the management takes these issues into consideration and makes the necessary improvements, as the restaurant has potential but needs significant refinement in both service and culinary execution.

So the Sunday brunch definitely is a vibe. Smooth r and b playing, cute restaurant and nice offerings. I was excited! Took my mom while visiting Jackson. I asked could i get a half order of lemon ricotta pancakes and the salmon Benedict. What I got was one under cooked pancake and a lox and bagel. They took it back and brought it back minus the avocado but just put the poached egg on top and plus the potatoes. I literally lost my appetite and the excitement! My mom said her omelet was ok but the biscuit wasn't as fresh as the waiter claimed. And took forever to bring her coffee. I dine out a lot and rarely am I disappointed with a meal or a restaurant but today I was let down!

I highly recommend eating breakfast at Estelle Southern Table! The service, atmosphere and food were great!! I ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes and they were amazing not to much lemon but enough to know it was in there and the blueberries added the extra sweetness to them but my experience was amazing.

Wonderful place to eat or have a cocktail.The food is delicious.The staff is excellent, and the atmosphere is modern with a touch of old-school charm.

Everything here was great! Cajun Redfish with cheese grits was phenomenal. And the filet was delicious as well. Friendly server. Nice atmosphere with a live saxophonist. 10/10 would recommend!
