Contribuiți la feedbackWe ate here 3x during our 10-day trip. This is the only restaurant we visited on the Faroe Islands that did not give me a vegan meal first after ordering a vegan meal. Both the vegan burger on the Pita and the Falafel were excellent. We also enjoyed the beers. Definitely the best bet for vegans in the Faroes, but I would like to see even more vegan options during the next visit in a few years
Located in the center of Torshavn, this bar offers a selection of tasty vegan dishes. While the dishes may be average, it serves as a great option for vegans in a city with limited dining choices. The ambiance of the bar is also charming.
We visited this restaurant twice. I tried the Veganburger and the Falafelpita, both of which were delicious. The only downside was the 50-minute wait for our food, but it was definitely worth it. The best part was the wide variety of beers available from Iceland and the Faroese Islands, which was a nice touch.
This is a nice, fun bar and the staff is super friendly. The food was okay. I have the veggie steak (based on a veggie burger) with salsa. The salsa was made of a glass, so I probably wouldn't get it back, but I know some people like salsa from a glass. I don't know what other vegan restaurant options you'll find, but, and I don't think you'll travel to the Faroes for vegan cuisine. I recommend this place if you want to eat somewhere in Tórshavn. During our recent trip to the Faroes, we visited this restaurant for dinner. Unfortunately, the Indian dish was no longer available on the menu. Instead, I opted for a pita sandwich with a vegan patty or falafel. I chose the falafel, which was quite basic – a pita pocket filled with chopped falafel that tasted different from traditional falafel, mixed with a simple vinegary slaw. Despite this, I found it to be acceptable considering the limited vegan dining options in Tórshavn. I enjoyed the laid-back atmosphere of the cafe and the friendly staff. For a higher quality vegan meal and a more elevated dining experience, I would recommend Frumbiti, just a short distance up the hill.
