Yiayia's Greek Kitchen - Torrington

First time visit for my wife and me. Phenomenal food! My wife, who is Greek, actually cried because the food reminded her so much of her own yiayia's cooking. She also said it was even better than the food she had when she was in Athens! It is an hour drive away for us, but we will certainly be back again and again. Best spanakopita ever. Amazing lamb gyro plate. Great service and atmosphere.

Just had an amazing lunch with Meghan as our server. She brought us such wonderful dishes of authentic meals and the dessert was amazing!

Ever since we discovered this place a few years ago, gigante beans and lemon potatoes have become some of my favorite dishes. I find myself craving them often! I think it would be a great idea to place a standing order every three weeks or so. My family really enjoys the hummus and falafel, although the falafel has a bit of a kick, and I’m not really into falafel these days. The stuffed grape leaves are also delicious. We usually get takeout instead of dining in, but one day we definitely plan to eat there!
