De Bassus Torrevieja Torrevieja

Zelt for family dinner, excellent choice, busy restaurant, but beautiful atmosphere. we went in and only half of the restaurant was open with barrier that led to the back. we asked if we had one table and let us sit behind the barrier, a few people came after us and went. not sure if they were short employees, so didn't want to encourage customers anymore. that said eating was good and price was okay.

Visited with family and had a great meal. the lok brewed German beer went down very well. worth a visit.

Waited ages and ages for service, the place was far from full, but we waited over 20 minutes for our drinks to arrive, they were just beer and soft drinks, hardly a complicated cocktail.

Fab schnitzel and international cuisine. We had a lovely meal, but there were scant vegetables with the food. It was schnitzel and chips with a tiny bit of side salad. This seems to be the general idea in the restaurants in Torrevieja, but when you...go to the Friday market and see all the magnificient vegetables and fruit it seems odd the meals have no carrots/peas/broccoli. Still this is a good restaurant with a great menu of the day which is good value for 8 euros.

Last 2yrs it's gone down hill, service was terrible waited for ever ordered 4 meals got served 3 meal no apologies were made staff were arguing about our bill as they tried to charge us for 2 mtrs of sausage we didn't order or have...We won't be going again and won't be recomending to friends and family It's a shame it used to be good
