Atrás Dos Vinhos - Torres Novas

This was our first visit here and we were pleasantly suprised. We arrived early at 7pm and received a very warm welcome. Although the first ones to arrive the ambiance was already good and the restaurant quickly filled up. It was a tapas restaurant but the portions were a generous size. The food was very flavoursome and the owner chef David was French. So the standard was very high. I had a ice cream with alcohol for dessert. The restaurant was very clean, and the service was exceptional. The prices were more than reasonable. 4 tapas dishes, 1 dessert, 1 2 carafe of wine, 2 beers and 2 coffees €35.

The cosiest place in Torres Novas. Extraordinary food made with love and savoir faire, superbe wines from all over Portugal, home made desserts. The restaurant is run by the chamiest portuguese couple. A place to visit regularly.
